I would appreciate some suggestions / recommendations from any of you who have experience using a DSD DAC with the XMC-1. I am also interested in how those DACs compare sound quality wise to the DACs in the XMC-1.

The quality of the (DSD) DAC and it's analogue circuit of the XMC-1 are so good that only a direct comparison in your system can reveal if a different sound "profile" of another external DAC may match better to your personal preferences.
