I thought there was a trick where by, using speaker presets, one could instantly switch to reference stereo on any input you are listening to? Can speaker preset 1, for example, be stickied with the reference stereo mode somehow?
Thanks!

I don't know if it's possible with the Emotiva remote but the Logitech Harmony remotes allow it.

Will try that - I have an older Harmony remote somewhere in here.

Actually I just did it using USB input. I configured USB input to use Reference Stereo mode, and am using the BitPerfect plugin for iTunes to make my Mac Mini output iTunes to the USB port only. What's even cooler about this is I have input 2 setup to my MacMini, and the button below it, button 6 as the USB input... so I can recall which is which... if I want to do other audio things on the Mac, I select input 2. I can even listen to music only, no system sounds, and surf the web without any sound but the music going to my XMC-1. And I can even watch something other than the Mac input, and listen to music off the USB input. It's quite powerful.
