Just out of curiosity.
I have had my XPA 2 Gen 2 amp for about 6 weeks now. It has played flawless and sounds great.
But it Clicks not through the speakers but the physical amp itself clicks. Like a heat fin expanding or something.
The thing is some times it does it before the amp is warm, then sometime it takes two to three hours then it does it.
Anyone know what this is?

This is the composite metal fins on the heat sink expanding and contracting. Due to changes in its state of temperature. My XPA-2 did that too. I had a Hafler that did that too. It is normal, and does not affect the amplifier's performance or reliability.

Mine clicks also when warming up. Emotiva said it is normal and just things expanding as the amp warms up.
