Check any local music store. I think some mixing consoles use them also. Look at Maki or peavey mixers. Just a thought to get you up and running. Best Buy should have PC power cords. Staples, Office Depot, and Walmart.

Called emotiva today and was told that I'd have to contact jadedesign/Cathy as she's the owner. So hopefully in the next 2 hours or so i'll get a response to the message sent friday.

If you paid via paypal you can start a dispute. But, man I can't get over the fact that folks don't have any spare power cables lying around. I'm staring at two right now at my desk and I just take them for granted. BTW that smallish power cord you have will still work. www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm 18G is good for up to 16A max. I seriously doubt you will pull that much continuous current before you get some cords.

The last 5 amps I bought came to me without cords. 2 sherbourn, 2 outlaw's and 1 XPA 1L thru jade design. Sucks but it's not the end of life as I know it. Hope you can find one.

There runing guys. Just using the cord from the new xpa-1l gen 2 im supposed to return and the cord from the yamaha reciever in the basement living room.
That will hold me till I hear back from emotiva.. just a pain to run up and down 2 floor and swap the cord when the kids want to play games downstairs.
Most of my pc power supply cords are old like 10-20 years old. The fattest one is from an old arcade machine and is like 10 feet long and prob 25+ years old. All the others are super skinny prob from 250-500 watt cheap power supplies.
Spending extra money for something I'm supposed to get with the amp is not gona happen.

Most manufacturers UNDER spec the supplied cord. They know that one of the FIRST things changed will be the power cord.
For entry level / affordable: Pangea, SIgnal Cable, Monoprice. I sent a note off to Blue Jeans but haven't yet heard back;
For the DIY guy? Belden makes a 14ga called 19364. This is a very flexible cable with terrific reviews. 4$ per foot, maximum. They also make a 12ga called 83803. Somewhat stiffer than above, might be OK for very high current draw devices. Double the cost+ of the above cable.
Home Despot? Forget it. The power cord they carry for the 'ala carte' trade is cheap, stiff and NOT suitable. I've never even seen a IEC connector on the shelf. And none even as part of a cable. They change vendors, always shopping the cheapest stuff so the chance of finding more of the exact same cable next year is near-zero.

Unless you have a 20A circuit..... Or a 15A circuit wired with 12 AWG wire, I can't say that I see much benefit to a power cord that's larger than 14 AWG.
Really it doesn't matter that much because it's such a short run. (No reason to over think them too much). Upgrading the power cord isn't audible, anyway. The constant current draw is what you really care about - and for most amps it's pretty low. A vacuum cleaner has a higher steady state current.
Just my 2 cents. Belden does make some nice cables though. I do like high quality cable and connectors... But it's really just for the physical qualities.

I got some pretty flexible stranded 10 AWG 3 conductor wire from Lowes and bought a good IEC female connector and a right angle male plug from Amazon. I needed a 15' cable for my CMX-2 and it works beautifully. I was going to use 12AWG but they had a 17' piece they gave me a better price on.

Use the ones you have laying around on the AVR. It isn't using that much juice. Then when Emotiva finally sends you some cords revert back to stock. No need to make the kids go without audio.
