Ok, here is my latest version. Again, using a Systemdek IIX suspension with new springs that I had made for me and a Origin Live silver tonearm. My own tonearm board which incorporates constrained layer dampening and Pete Riggles VTAF. The plinth is made of Balltic birch ply and veneered in cherry.

here is mine 22KG Slate base with PTP-3 top plate and Lenco 78 Motor and Clear Audio platter and bearing with Trans-fi Terminator Pro 3 air bearing linear tracker and Ortofon 2M Bronze cart.

vinyl and TT's are a slippery slope....I've had quite a few over the years but this is the first I really built myself (I actually built 2 - one was reward for doing the other ) I did actually attempt my own air bearing arm too and did have it operational but got the Terminator 3 Pro as it was a better implementation of what I had done my self...by a long way

I got in from a Clear Audio owner who upgraded to a thicker platter and sold off the old one...just got lucky I scored it at a good price ~US$200 I think
