This thread is connected to the "This is how my XPA 7 came back to me after being repaired" thread. I couldn't find a way to add pictures to my reply in that thread and I thought it was important to add these pics - hence this new one.
I received my replacement XPA 7 today. It was actually received at the destination distribution center on the 9th and I scheduled to have it delivered today. That's less than a week of shipping time for ground shipping between them and me. It was packaged extremely well and came with an extra box for the one I am to send back. The lighting is not great (didn't realize just how dark they were until I uploaded them back at work) but it gives you an idea of how secure this shipment was and what a drastic difference between this experience and the one where my repaired unit came back to me.
I just wanted to acknowledge the level of attention paid by Emotiva in shipping this replacement in advance of receiving the original and for the speed in which it was sent.
I haven't hooked it up yet but will later on tonight.
UPDATE:
The XPA 7 has been hooked up and is working fantastically. I've added a few photos (by the way, before I get responses, I have the back of the stand open on the side where the amp is and I also have two high speed AC Infinity 140 mm fans sitting on top of the amp itself)

I'm glad to hear everything worked out! I was following your other thread closely and felt so bad for you - I feel like one of the few people who has had a positive experience with the xpa-7 (honestly I thought I had bought a niche among niche products, had no idea so many were out there) and I'm delighted to hear this got resolved for you. I absolutely LOVE my 7, it's incredible how it performs for me.
Can't wait to hear more.

I have my XPA-7 about a year and it has performed perfectly for me. I use it a lot in two channel mode and love that 550 watts of power. Remember most of the time only people who are having problems post about the 7. I have mine sitting out in the open. Just remember to give it plenty of room to get rid of the heat.

Mine is on the bottom of the rack, an XPA200 on top, I do have extra rubber feet on the 200 so the 7 can breathe better, love both. ..

I have always wondered why none of my amps or XMC-1 were wrapped in plastic when I bought them. Seems like cheap insurance to protect things from leaky trailers and delivery trucks. Good to see Emotiva is finally covering their products better.

I'll bet Dan himself oversaw that packing job.

Good to see Emotiva is finally covering their products better. All of the Emo gear I've purchased (and I've purchased plenty) has all been packaged neatly and securely. Either there has been a plastic or cloth bag covering the actual item, plus dense foam and double boxing. The last item I purchased was the XMC-1 early last year before the price went up and it was similarly packaged.

Love your set up. What manufacturer is your cabinet? I'm looking for a new cabinet for my gear and what you have looks about perfect.
