Any owners of a XPA-2 in or around Phoenix, AZ?? Selling off a couple of old amps and am considering an Emotiva. Would greatly appreciate it if you would allow me a look/see and a listen. Thanks!!!

Looking at a XPA-2 Gen 1 later today that suddenly showed up on CL (what a coinkydinky, eh?). What should i look for as someone that is only familiar with the product from word of mouth?

This sounds obvious, but make sure it powers on. The round E button the front should glow amber when it has power. It will switch to blue when it's turned on, and active. Also, make sure the LED's on the front light up blue (my gen 2 flashes red, at startup, and then change to a constant blue), once the power is on. If they glow a constant red - there is something wrong with it.
I would also inspect the RCA connections in the back, to make sure they aren't bent (You could always use XLR - but it's nice to have either option.)
Ideally you'd be able to hear it hooked up, before buying. Good luck!
P.S. If it doesn't work out - I'm going to be out of town this weekend, but will probably be available next weekend if you still want check it out.

Shortest time ever from posting a question to becoming an owner. Went and saw, listened to Emotiva XPA-2 that showed up on local CL after i did original post. Original owner unit connected to a smallish pair of Martin Logans. Played several of my discs. I am now an owner!!!
**P.S. I posted this earlier, but did not seem to have gone through. If this is a duplicate, my apologies...
