Has anyone found a way to safely dim the round standby/on light?? I have the front panel lights set to '0' , but the round light is still on and quite bright in a dark HT.
It would have to be a fix that was reversible if the time comes that I want to sell my XMC-1.
Thanks, Tom

There's also a grey stick on film that you can cut to size, it will dim and if you do a good job isn't too noticeable. Here's one with precut circles Light Dims

I use the 100% lite dims on umc-200 standby/power light and the 50% lite dims on my other euipment with great ease and success.

Thanks guys. I actually had tried the Light-Dims before, but the 50% didn't dim enough and the silver ones didn't look right. So this time I tried doubling up the 50% ones and it worked well. It would be nice if Emotiva could actually dim the halo light down to about 1% or 2% in the setup menu, but the Light-Dims work very well.
Thanks to all again,
Tom

why Emotiva can do a teeny weeny little blue light to indicate on is beyond me...Oppo do it, many others do too. If you have it under control allow the thing to be managed by the user for petes sake.

maybe we could expect to see it one of Dan's promised firmware updates for the XMC-1 ... might turn blue myself so won't hold my breath...its been asked for a gazzilion times now not just om the processors but amps too...you don't have to put up with such lights in cinemas why should we have to at home...come on Emotiva get with the program!
