I've had a dream!!! And it had a pair of tubes sticking out the top!! Are ya feeling me in Franklin??? Ya can't say yes, if I don't ask,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,so I'm askin! And it doesn't hurt or cost anything either,,,,,to ask that is.

My guess is at the cost of the balanced outputs adding Boom's X10-D v3 tube buffer to the dc1 is as close as I will get to that. But if Anyone can hear us in Franklin, we are dreaming of a balanced DC-1 with tube analog output stage!

Yep a tubed XMC-1 is a dream only. Costs and isolation, and so on make it an unlikely. There are some fine tube buffers out there though.
