I have seen some pictures of several members here of their systems and I can't imagine it sounding any good. I have seen pics of systems with plain and untreated walls, couches and furniture between speakers and listeners, etc., etc. I am glad the presenter mentioned the room will add coloration to the original recording so even a "neutral amp" can potentially sound awful in a badly or poor treated room.
