I received my ERC-3 Gen2 today and I can already tell it's going to satisfy in a way that the other Emotiva gear I've recently purchased does! It is by far the best, most neutral, and "analog" sounding CD Player I've owned and I've only had a few hours with it, can't wait to see what it holds going forward. It appears that I've got a "quiet one" too, which is excellent - I don't detect any unusual noise coming from the transport.
All that said, with the attention to detail the gear exhibits, I'm a little bit surprised that the display is so remarkably different in color from the buttons and especially the display on my XSP-1 Gen2. Again, totally happy with the unit, just thought this was a little odd.

Nope, that's the way Emotiva builds everything. No matchy matchy on the lights.

Yeah i find the lighter blue led display on the stealth dc-1 don't match and not even close to the darker blue on the xsp-1 gen2. I'll live with it though but I believe I've read someone mentioned using some film to put over the display to darken it up to match.

Smoke some pot and you will forget all about it. Or a hit of window pain and the colors will look really good

I haven't noticed a difference. I will take a look when I entertain my ears later.
