I find it hard to believe there is really no one talking about their new gen 3 amp on here. They are for sake correct? Why the lack of reviews or talk? Seems odd to me

It's either the amps suck or so damn good they don't want to let everyone else know before they can buy another! Lol

That's maybe 1 person then everything goes off topic.... You said "or talk", there's plenty of talk about the amps, the power supplies, the blades, the possible configurations, sending them in for upgrades, ... there are just very few who have written about owning them. They're still too new.

I think we need to appreciate the fact that this board represents probably about 0.01% of Emotiva customers.

Honestly I too share the curiosity about the gen 3. Surprised I haven't heard more reviews or comparisons. Either way I'm remaining optimistic for the triple double wide monoblock 1500 watt design to compare them to my XPR-1s.

I was reading audioholics gen 3 article and it said double wide modules (500 watt 8 ohms) and that a single chassis can accommodate up to three modules for a monoblock. I assume three multiplied times 500 watts is 1500. Unless I'm mistaken which very possible.

Our problem seems to be that there aren't enough lounge members that have the Gen. 3 amps yet. Unfortunately, or fortunately, the lounge is populated with people who have already spent their money on Emotiva products. Apparently we don't have the money to rush out and buy a Gen 3 amp to "play" with.
Big Dan says that he is selling them as fast as he can make them. We'll either have to wait until these new owners join the lounge, or pony up some cash ourselves.

I'd think Dan and crew would be pretty happy with that.

I think that all the new Gen 3 people take one look at the Lounge and go-- "No thanks, I don't need that grief. See how they treat the owner over there!"
I got news for you, if I hadn't been here since the XDA-1 was just a concept I wouldn't join now. There are more than a couple disturbers ruining it for the rest of us. In fact, If I were big Dan I would ban a bunch and come back to hang out in my own lounge. It was way better here when people were civil, respectful and when Big Dan and Co posted here freely.
