Just received a new ERC-3 after my ERC-1 stopped working after 6 years. I am happy to say it is noise free (so far).
I was disappointed Emotiva no longer repair the ERC-1, but I must say the ERC-3 sounds awesome.
Just hoping it lasts more than 6 years. Living in Canada made the ERC-3 very expensive ($800 CAD)
Just wanted to chime in and let others know the ERC-3 can operate quietly.
