Hi all,
I have the XMC-1 feeding an XPA-2 and XPA-5 via XLRs in a 5.1 setup. The usual source is a Nvidia Shield TV. My average volume is -22. When I click on various menu items or scroll around the UI of either my Samsung TV or the Shield, I get a brief static sound and the audio prompt very clearly clips. With the Shield playing straight to the TV and it's own internal speakers, I get none of that. When I turn the volume down to around -30, this doesn't happen, or maybe I just can't hear it anymore. Via the TV, it won't clip at any volume setting.
I'm worried I'm damaging my speakers and other components. Please help me.
Thank in advance!

I'm not sure there is anything you can do other than turn the audio prompt beeps off on the Shield and Samsung.

But isn't this indicative of something being wrong? Even without the Shield in the loop, the TV prompts clip. It's the Samsung F8500 plasma, which I assume other people use in combination. Is anyone else experiencing this?
