Now that the cats been let out of the bag that Emofest 2009 will be held in August, how many of you guys and gals plan on attending?
Hopefully both loserwife and myself will be able to attend.

Grrrr Now it's September..... Saturday, Sunday and Monday? Satruday is the 'meet and greet' day, and Sunday the actual 'event'. We're hoping a lot of people have extended time off that weekend. |

Ok, so I'm still game for the new weekend! Count the wife and I as RSVP's.  Just need the name of a really nice hotel suite. NOTE TO DANN: Not a motel with hourly rates. |

there is a pretty good one only about 3 miles from them , checked it out , 60 bucks a night, cheap to be that close., there are some nicer ones a little farther away , but my money on the inexpensive one, as long as it has a bed shower and a toilet ...lol

I will have to confirm with the wife...but really want to and plan on making this. Let's see...my car would be more economical to drive...but the wife's SUV would hold more gear...decisions, decisions.

I am making definite plans to be there. Would like to get in on Thursday and spend some time in Nashville. I have never been there and there must be some awesome music bars/restaurants there.....

Damn you guy`s why do you have to live so far a way from me , I have a sister there ,but I can only handle a 20 to 40 minute ride - over that & I would be bed ridden for a day or two which wouldn`t be bad if you could put a bed in the emotiva`s show room for me ,but then again I don`t think any of you would like me much I`m a real a$$ when I`m in pain ,it`s a wonder I`m still married !!! o well take some good quality pic`s so I can blow them up -past them to my HT walls then I can pretend I`m there , you all have fun I will be there in spirit & all who is driving there please be carful safety first !!!!

Bad News......Well, for me, I probably have to pass on EmoFest
Good News. .....I start a new job tomorrow. So being gainfully employed again is nice.
I will be saving my money so I can actually own some Emotiva gear( amp first). If I have to choose between an XPA-2/3 combo and airline tix and Hotel room, I'm gonna take the gear. Hopefully this turns into an annual event.

I visited Franklin a couple of years ago. There are lots of things to go and see. I mostly went to historical sights. Even thought it isn't in TN, on the trip home we stopped by the Corvette factory. That was cool to see. Too bad I didn't know about Emotiva then  |
