XMC-1 trigger problems (solved)

I cannot for the life of me get the trigger 1 to turn on my XPA5. 
At this point I have all triggers turned on for zone 1 &2, all inputs selected and all speaker groups as well.
I cant get the amp to turn either on or off.

All I want is for my 1 amp to turn on when the XMC-1 does. 

Problem solved!!!

No matter how many times I have setup my system or just replaced 1 piece I ALWAYS seem to screw something up when hooking everything back up!
This time I plugged the trigger cable into the (choose the appropriate expletive here) IR port right next to the  trigger ports  .

Needless to say everything is working fine now, well except for my Harmony remote .

Don't feel bad, many times it's the most obvious things, and in this case the IR input is right next to the triggers, so easily mistaken. Good to hear you got it working!

It is easy to do. Lighting is critical. When I connect things, Lighting is enough to light up 3 rooms when I do it. Yeah, seeing is challenge for me. All in the service of getting great sound. My favorite is left was right, and right was left. So yeah, easy to do, and everyone will plug something unexpectedly somewhere else sometime.
