Anyone have any experience with high end AudioQuest XLR cables or RCA to Mini ?
I currently have YUKON XLR's hooked up to my XPR-2 and XSP system. Plus my Walkman MP3 player, I heard MAJOR differences between a $25 cable and my $80 AudioQuest one. Just thought I would ask if anyone has partaken with any of these multiple flavors of cables......

Cables are a bit of a touchy subject. Some people hear no difference and some do hear differences. I just put in Audioquest Diamondback XLR's in my 2 channel system, XDA-2, XPS-1, Parasound A23 and I heard a difference. I went from RCA's to the XLR's so I would expect some difference. I didn't hear anything major, but I do hear a little more bass and the overall sound just sounds a little more open and clean. My wife though claims the difference is more than subtle. If you hear a difference and don't mind spending the money then by all means do it and enjoy.

Mark is right, if you can afford it and can hear a difference then why not. Personally I've not heard enough of, if any, difference to substantiate more expensive interconnects and thus encourage other choices of sound improvement(ie: room treatments, Room EQ, speaker placement, etc). First-hand experience in this hobby is what really counts, so if it increases your listening/watching pleasure, then it just doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

If you hear it, don't let anyone tell you that you don't!
