Big Ego

I can connect the Big Ego to the Naim Unitilite using either front analog or optical. The quality of sound is somewhat close. However, with optical connection, the sound (signal) dropped if I moved the Big Ego. Do you think I should stick with analog output. Technically, which connection has better sound quality? All advises will be greatly appreciated.

Hello, so I understand correctly. You lose sound entirely if you move the Big Ego whilst using the Optical connection. Or was it the sound quality? The Output of the Big Ego from any digital input will output Analog. Just confused a bit here.
