The video output from my UMC 200 has started to flicker on and off. The video source is a Verizon/Motorolo QIP 7100 HD video box. Changing HDMI cables had no effect. I also substituted a different cable box with no improvement. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Try turning you cable box off then on, let it reload and see how it works.

Thanks for the help, Wiskers. At fist, rebooting the cable box helped. Unfortunately, the flickering started after about 20 minutes. I tested all three of my cable boxes with my two Onkyo receivers. I have no video issues when routing the cable boxes through my receivers.

Try a different hdmi slot on umc-200. Try a reset on the umc-200 If none of above work might be time to call for service.

Nothing to lose last resort if its an edid comms issue to hook up a sp/dif coax or optical audio cable before it needs servicing Gary Different hdmi port as wiskers said will rule out skewed pins etc

After trying everything, I tried one more set of HDMI cables. I used the cables that came with my OPPO 103 and incredibly, that seems to have solved the problem. The other cables I tried were ones that came with the cable box, some RCA branded cables from Walmart, and an unknown brand from Fry's. I have used the system about six hours now with no problems.
Thanks again for the help and suggestions.
