As long as you have good materials and craftsmanship with good shielding then anything above that is a waste. I'm sure there are those that would say they hear a difference. Well, I probably would too if I spent uber $$$ on cables.

Well, I probably would too if I spent uber $$$ on cables. Pygmalion effect. You want to hear a difference if you spend that much $$ or you really don't care because you have so much money it doesn't matter!!

If any - not much. Cables with exceptionally high capacitance can make audible differences, but other than that, nothing I've heard.

In other words, audio cable debates, like political debates and choices, are mostly governed by expectation biases and placebo effects! In other words, no one is immune from self-delusion..., particularly, not the finger pointers who always seem to have "everything" properly figured out.
So maybe, we should prevent this from developing into another irresolvable shouting match, and go back to enjoying, whenever we can, the great soothing illusions that music provides for us all.
Just my two cents

sahmen is right. There are very few cable agnostics. Either you're a foam-at-the-mouth "wire-is-wire" proponent or you're a "I can hear differences" fanatic. My stance is "If you hear differences, don't let anyone tell you that you don't." I have, in fact heard differences. But in my experiences, the differences are very small. Therefore, I don't consider wires worth spending any significant money on. I get bigger differences from electronics, and MUCH bigger differences from speakers & sources. But that's just me - and there IS room for differing opinions. Now I'm taking intelligent & wise Mr. sahmen's advice, and going to listen to some music!

I wholeheartedly agree that the differences between $$$ cables and moderately priced cables are slim when it comes to listening. At least that is what I have experienced in the pass and especially now that I am older. In conclusion, backing up DYohn, When the horse is dead...get off
