In general, I prefer a non-glossy black as I hate finger prints, so more of a matte black I suppose. Fingerprints?,,,,,,Fingerprints?,,,,,,,,

Black, but I have to agree with doc1963 if I had a dedicated 2 channel environment. I also love my music, but I can't see putting speakers in my coffin, like in frenchyfrank's post Here's another one for the collection: When is Dracula supposed to come out? Lol He's already out, don't you ever look in the shadows?

I voted wood grain, I wanted natural cherry and Magnepan only offers dark cherry (similar to B&W's 'rosenut'). My dealer got them to send me the unfinished cherry trim pieces and I finished them myself, then sent them back to build my speakers. The Maggies use solid cherry strips that finish up nicely. I think they look great and they blend well with the other wood in my house (which I've mostly finished myself). I was glad I could get the finish I wanted. That said, the predominant look of these (and many other) speakers is that of the grill cloth, in my case black.
