Ok, so not maybe what your existing speaker color is, but what color would you like your speakers to be?

Since I have over forty speakers in my home I chose black as that is what the majority are. However I also have oak, walnut and cherry speakers in house but I can't vote for more than one in here so...

Any color at all is fine. As long as it's black.

But I agree, diversity and choice enriches life.

Black. Don't want to draw attention to the speakers in the room - just want to hear them.

^^^.... What he said... Edit: However, "if" I were to have a dedicated 2 channel environment in an open area to the rest of my home, a furniture grade finish would certainly be more of a consideration. Having said that, if my "speaker of choice" were only available in black, so be it.

Black.
I have always wanted black speakers and I am of an age where that was not an option until recent. Speakers were always wood. That can be beautiful. I have had beautiful wood speakers. I want black to disappear. My TV is black. My TV stand is black. I want black speakers.

I'm a wood grain type of guy. I prefer Cherry or Walnut . Really not a fan of Black or light colored woodgrain.

Black, but I have to agree with doc1963 if I had a dedicated 2 channel environment. I also love my music, but I can't see putting speakers in my coffin, like in frenchyfrank's post Here's another one for the collection:

Black. Don't want to draw attention to the speakers in the room - just want to hear them. When I listen to music, I don't stare at my speakers. In fact, my eyes are closed most of the time so there's never a distraction, regardless of what the finish is. Then again, when my speakers aren't being used, they are covered in custom made protective covers (I also keep my electronics covered when not in use). As such, I don't see them all that much anyway.

I've selected black as the next best color, but I do like aluminum, like these Piega speakers I now use as surrounds.

Ok, so not maybe what your existing speaker color is, but what color would you like your speakers to be? Can you add "Not matte black", please?

If cabs, Black.
If drivers, Blue.

In general, I prefer a non-glossy black as I hate finger prints, so more of a matte black I suppose.
