PS Audio's soon-to-be released CD/SACD transport uses an Oppo drive but they disclose and rave about it.

I bet you they sold quite a few of them. Most processors I have seen have nothing more than a few chips and stuff like that. Nothing really fancy in there.

So at least they actually made some modifications. I would be pissed unless the dealer had told me the truth that it was based on the Denon.

Let me throw two other logs on the fire.
Jeff Rowland sells a $4,500 class D amp that uses the same Pascal module as D-Sonic's $1,400 amp. The Rowland is prettier.
Many high end turntable manufacturers purchase their motors and arms from Pro-Ject. Right Music Hall?
