The Peachtree is a hybrid. The Class-A solid-state preamp has a unity-gain, built-in tube buffer. You can switch the tube in & out while listening via the remote. The power amp section is Class-D ICE modules from B&O, modified by Peachtree. So this is about as "hybrid" an amp as one can get.
The amp has a 10 year warranty (but non-transferrable). The Magnolia employee that I bought the amp from left me his phone / email and said that if I ever had trouble with it, he'd get if fixed under warranty.
I'll try to get it plugged in today.
I'm also trying to finish the second of the two Heathkit Mono Blocks. And I'm eagerly awaiting the Emotiva BASX PT-100!
