Nick, all I can think is they have so many projects going they can not afford for everything to be built all at once. Big Dan is kid just like us. Us kids are just adults with big toys. We want everything and we want it now.  Big Dan does not have a grand plan. A big subwoofer came out in his mind a long time ago and when they build it and ship it, we will have it.  OK, just remember this conversation my friend. 😜 Have you met Big Dan yet ? I remember sitting next to him with his yet to be released XMC-1 and the sad look on his face when it did not do something he thought it would do. I told him " I am proud of you dude ". We are more like each other here than many think. This is are thing and we want it to work and we want it to live. We are living Big Dan's dream through Big Dan. I stand by what I say ! |

He had the remote and I ask about if everything dims on the XMC-1 and it did not all dim. "It will" he said.  |

I am definitely looking forward to this sub. I had heard that Dan also worked with someone at Genesis and hope this sub would be direct servo like Rythmik my 15 is really accurate.

Any news on this? I was going to buy one at Emofest (Was told I could if I didn't mind waiting until October of 2017 for it, which I didn't mind) but I decided to buy a set of the T2's instead. In hindsight I'm glad I didn't. No mention of it anywhere.

I would go powered sub. I know of no popular non powered audiophile subs. I doubt Emotive will change this belief. Also who wants to add another amp? Lol. What is an audiophile sub? Answer- JL AUDIO, SVS, PSA, REL and a few others Note to self-these four companies make one and one thing only. |

Excellent sub-woofer design isn't difficult, its pretty easy, actually. You just need to ask yourself a few simple questions, plug your answers into a modeling program, and build your enclosure. The only real difficulty for companies is the commercial side of the equation. |
