I just installed JRiver Media Center 22 for Mac on a spare MacBook Pro. Smooth installation. Then I imported my library from the external RAID drive (about 3 hours, and now it's good). I went to JRiver's Tools - Options panes & enabled DLNA and set up the system for use with J-Remote on my iPad. I generated the key code, manually entered it on the iPad software, and selected the Oppo as the output device.
The J-Remote tells me that I'm connected to the server. I can see all of my files from J-Remote. But when I try to play a track, one of two things happens - Either the song does not play at all or else the cover art loads - the track loads, and the first four or five seconds of the song start to play before the playback stops & the song starts over.
Any idea of why this is happening & what I should do to fix it?
Thanks - Boomzilla

I hadn't tried J-Remote with MC 22 yet so I thought I'd see what happens for me. I have J-Remote loaded on an iPad mini 2 and J-River and my library are on an Asus Q503. I loaded up a high res DSD file and it played all the way through and is now almost 3 minutes in to the second song and no issues whatsoever. I have a wireless wireless AC network with the Oppo hardwired to an Asus RT-AC67 router configured as a wireless bridge.

Viewing with interest as I have the same setup as Boom and am about to take the JRiver plunge although I see Oppo indicates that "they're almost Roon ready".

I deleted J-Remote from the iPad & reinstalled it. Now it works fine. All's well & thanks - Boom

Probably some mysterious bug with the original installation. When all else fails use a bigger hammer.
