Hello Guys,
I have a DC1 and I play music from my network using my phone. I use the Apple USB to iPhone adaptor, and it plays really well. But, I can't get a charge while I do so. Is it because the USB on the DC1 has no power out? Or is there another adaptor that would pass the charge?
Thanks in advance.

You could use a pure I-20 dock? But I'm not sure if it charges. Good to know the camera adapter works fine with the DC-1. I didn't know that.

With USB, when you connect a client device to a computer, the computer provides charging power to the client (not the other way around). When you connect an iPhone to a DC-1, the DC-1 is the client, and the iPhone is acting as the "computer". (I think you'll find that the iPhone to USB adapter in general provides that sort of connection.) The iPhone itself can be connected either that way, OR as a client device connected to another device connecting as host (using a different adapter). I think you'll find that, when you connect the iPhone to a computer, acting as a client, the computer can charge it. But, when the iPhone is connected as the server device, connected to another device acting as a client, it isn't going to be charged. (And, in any case, the DC-1 expects the device it's connected to to "run" it's USB port and not the other way around.) If you were to use the iPhone with an actual dock, most docks will provide a digital coax out to connect to the DC-1, and will also charge the phone.
