Amazing video. My manager visited the Bowers and Wilkins facility a few years back, and the experience was amazing. The video is a great snapshot of what they do. But there is so much more. By the way. They love Skeeter shooting too.

Those were great speakers. I've been playing with the new 800s for the last couple of weeks and man are they amazing! Have to agree the new 800 series 3 speakers sound amazing. Again another upgrade situation...lol However I intend to keep my 803's. First I like the way they sound and I will admit that I cannot afford $14-$16,000. Even though I probably could sell my 803's for $6-$7000.00. B&W has a great resale value. One of few companies to carry that kind of weight. I sold my Rosewood 804S speakers for more than half of what I paid for them after 8.5 years of ownership...they were in PRISTINE condition! Not a mark on them and I had the orginal boxes and manuals. I know a lot of people do not like B&W speakers for one reason or another but IMO they are one hell of a speaker.

British loudspeaker manufacturer, Bowers and Wilkins (B&W) is to be sold to a small, and relatively unknown company. This week, Joe Atkins, chief executive officer of Bowers & Wilkins told his 1100 staff that he will be selling his majority stake in the company to Eva Automation, a 40-person Silicon Valley start-up that hasn't yet sold a single product or service. The company was started in 2014 by Gideon Yu, a former Facebook Inc. chief financial officer, ex-venture capitalist, and current co-owner of the San Francisco 49ers.

Eva Automation founder is an audiophile so memorized with his 802D3s that he bought the company. Their goal is to merge home theater automation into higher end audio

No matter what happens no one can deny the realism of B&W speakers for decades! I believe the company will only move forward and enhance the audio cusumers with more WOW!
