Hello All, My name is Mike. As a long time believer in Emotiva and their products, I am here. I have RBH speakers, not sure if anyone has heard of them, but, I have found their weakness, only because of the volume I used to play. They are great speakers! The weakness has been replaced, amp arching on my part. So I bought the XPR2. I have only used it about 8 times, only when I really wanted, well LOUD. I usually use my XPA-5, which is no slouch, by any means. My question is I will be moving out of state and do not want to move the XPR2, quite heavy, I might add. What would be the fair value? Would anyone here on the forum be interested in it?
Thank you for your time, Mike

The XPR-2 will sell here for sure. But I don't know if I would let that XPR-2 go. It's one of those keeper amps imo.

Hi Mike - Welcome to the Lounge.
There are two types of people in the world - Audio hoarders and the "clean closets brigade." I'm in the latter group and if I decide I'm not enamored with a component, it's quickly gone. Sometimes I regret the sale but mostly not. So decide which group you belong to and act accordingly.
Cheers - Boomzilla

If you post your whereabouts you will at least get some interest if you in fact have decided to sell it. Of course the asking price will be up to you to decide but I would think about $1200 for a used XPR-2. Any warranty left? That may make a difference to someone

Thanks.
I live just north of Chicago. I bought it about 3 years ago, I am not sure how long the warranty is.

Totally agree, not in my life time to date has anyone and I do mean any company that has put out a amp for the price like your XPR 2. If I had the XPR 2 I wouldn't sell it just on principal. Who comes close to putting out a amp like Emo without having to mortgage your house or sell your wife and kids..keep da amp brother even if you don't use it now you still have bragging rights.

I'd keep it...the XPR's were originally my "someday" amp. Of course, now that they're no longer made...I'll have to rethink that...lol
