Hey Guys,
I'm looking to buy a pair of used emotiva xpa-1 gen2 amp. i've found a pair that are currently 2 years old and was curious about a good price for the amps that are this old and listed as good condition. The seller has the stock emotiva pictures on his ad and if i take this further i'd def ask for the pics of the two he is selling. Thanks for any assistance you can provide..... Oh and the seller is asking for 1500 before shipping.

I'd talk the seller down to around $1200 or less plus shipping. $1500 seems too high IMO. A quick check on ebay shows pairs going for right around $1100-1200 plus shipping - $100-150 per pair.
You have relatively efficient (96db) Klipsch speakers and a few pretty decent amps already. What do you hope to gain with the big mono-blocks? It certainly won't be for more power IMO. The pair of XPA-1L's should be plenty for those speakers.

knucklehead it would be for a stereo setup for my RF-7ii's that are in my office. I wouldn't need all the power they offer but at 1200 that'd be less then what I paid for my 2 xpa-1l's so I thought it'd be worth grabbing them at a discounted rate. After I bought the palladium's i pulled the RF-7's out and just have a 5.2 in my theater setup.

Man you will love the heck out of hte XPA-1's !!! I don't know how they compete against the SA-250 but they are better than the XPA-1 Ls. More robust sound imo - at least with speakers that need guts.

The XPA-1s have a dynamic treble. The Klipsch speakers (whole line) do too. The pairing may be somewhat bright? Or not (I haven't heard such a pairing). Just a thought...

It would be cool to hear your thoughts on how they A/B perform against the SA250.
