Hello everyone, It's been quite a while since I've posted here, unfortunately I'm posting about a problem with my approximately 4+ year old UMC-1. It seems that for no reason I can ascertain the unit dumps the memorized settings randomly, it's been doing this for a bout a year and it's done it twice in the last month, so it went from annoying to very frustrating. Does anyone have any ideas as to a cause or fix? Is it time to get it looked at by Emotiva(while I have warranty left)? TIA.
Don

I can imagine how frustrating that would be. It would be prudent to call Emotiva while the unit is still under warranty. Please call them tomorrow.

Gaah, I must be getting old, just reviewed some of my prior posts and realized I posted this issue 4 years ago, it must have corrected itself for a long while, pretty sure based on my original post that warranty has run out, oh well, a good excuse for an upgrade maybe

I would call Emotiva anyway. At the very least you may learn what causes the issue, a useful bit of knowledge going forward. If you decide to upgrade, you could do a lot worse than the excellent XMC-1!
