Cool project. I was looking for a 12v triggered AC outlet to activate a fan for a projector and was initially disappointed to only find this rather expensive Xantec Option at ~$90! However, I did find 2 other options on Amazon to pass along for folks without the skills or patience the build their own: Powerswitchtail has mounting holes and is available in a usually on or usually off option for ~$30. Iot Relay has no mounting screws but has 4 outlets (2 usually on/2 usually off) for <$20! Either option will support a range of voltages in addition to the 12v option.

Very workable solutions to the same problem. Thanks for posting links. I had seen one of those but in the end decided to add the capability to the power center I was using already. It had power sensing capability but the PT-100 wouldn't draw enough current to activate it.

Very handy.....
Nice find.
It only makes sense that such things should be available, but I"ve never run across them before.
Do note, though, that while these are great for Airmotivs... and even Stealths... they would be a bit underrated for a big power amp (honestly, being mechanical relays, they'd probably work).
