If I had the space for big heavy amps I probably would have ordered a couple of XPA Gen 3s during the Labor Day sale but with my limited space, I knew I was going to have to go Class D, ugh. I hoped for 8 channels with at least 200 watts per channel, and bridgeable would be nice, but I have to limit it to a maximum depth of 17 inches (with cables connected), a weight limit of 50-60 lbs on an absolute maximum budget of $3000... sound easy? Hah! NOT!. I spent hours/days researching Class D modules and brands like Hypex/nCore kits, NAD, Wyred 4 Sound, ClassDAudio.com, D-Sonic etc. I considered multiple 2-4 channel amps and even looked at Parasound ZoneMasters. After a lot of Class D research I liked what I read about the Pascal and Anaview/Abletech modules and knew I did NOT want ICE modules. And a 12v trigger would be nice. I finally found the NuPrime MCH K-38 and even found it on sale for 15% off. Not getting my hopes up but I read every forum post I could find, (mostly on Audio Circle), I read the user manual, I contacted NuPrime, I contacted the seller, I posted on their Audio Circle and the only negative I could find was it only has a 2 year warranty but they claim to stock all parts for repairs in their Indiana service center. After all of this exhaustive research, I found it on sale with a "30-Day Risk Free Trial" so I pulled the trigger and ordered the NuPrime MCH K-38. Hopefully it will live up to it's claims and be dependable, we'll see.

Cool buy Jim. Keep us posted on what you think once you have it set up. I was actually posting earlier this evening about my interest in the NuPrime gear
