Hello..First post here..I've studio Emotiva products for a while ( even though I haven't bought any yet) and I've been impressed..! I do have a question about the new C-1 speaker. Very impressive looking speaker and I'm wondering if I could use these speakers as nearfiels for my studio? I know they don't go down bass frequency deep, but I'm wondering about the response as being " flat" enough to qualify as a " studio" speaker? Actually from the specs, it actually goes down further in the bass than my trusty NS-10s ( 65 hz)..Thanks..

It's a center channel designed to excel at the information native to center channel content. You're desire is more for information intended for the mains, and all that comes along with that (imaging, etc...). I wouldn't recommend it.
Did you really choose to sign up with the handle "snatchman"? Or did you lose a bet?...
