And no one in the USA says Porsche properly. It's not Porsh. It's also not truly Por-shah (although much closer to correct than Porsh) as many say. In German, the stand alone letter E is properly pronounced like Fonzy says Aaaaaaaaa. Like hay, day, pay or ray. So it's really more like Por-shay. But, they also have many dialects (accents) in Germany, and others pronounce it as Por-sheh. In which German dialect do anyone pronounce Porsche as Por-shay?  And BTW, Gallardo is Spanish.  |

Gallardo is pronounced like that because it is a Spanish word, same with Diablo and Murciélago, not because Lamborghini is an Italian brand. I want one!!! When/if they add Darbee to it. It's probably the first UHD component I will buy, and happy to have it! I hope they can make the HDR/wide color gamut processing as tinkerable as possible via their firmware; it appears that if they don't come out of the gate with Dolbyvision, they may not be able to get it in just via firmware, but if they can have Dolbyvision from the get-go, it should also support HDR-10 (like Vizio did with their TVs). Then I would expect an Emo EMP-1 or UHD-upgraded XMC-1 "early" next year. And then I have to make a decision on a new screen - very much up in the air right now. |

I did a pre-order on the 103, so I'm betting that I'll receive a pre-order notice when the 203 is about ready. I get e-mail from Oppo whenever they release a new product. It will still probably be a month or so before a pre-order will actually ship. It was about that long for the 103 and the CC wasn't charged until it actually shipped. |

I see a UDP-203 in my system sometime next year, I might move my 93 to the bedroom or just sell it. One thing I'm wondering is if any of the rental outlets are going to be offering UHD disks? I don't have the bandwidth for streaming, though I may try UHD PPV on Dish, will RedBox (for instance) rent UHD?
Edit: Oh (poe), I see there another poll/thread on UHD disks, I'll read there.
