I have the dreaded 'loose RCA connector' on a XPA-2, Gen 1 out of warranty..Have some basic solder skills..Repair with OEM plug if available or go with newer style as on Gen 2 amps?

Some RCA connector will solder directly to a board while others may have short jumper wires to a board. I think the newer ROHS compliant solders are brittle and can be reflowed / fixed without problem. If the connector itself is bad, you'll need to see how it mounts and connects.

Nahhh.......an easy fix, I mean dreaded compared to what. Even if beyond you, that could be handled by any competent local electronics repair (don't sweat it!) Bill

If I remember right those RCA are board mounted and might be a little tougher to replace. I think it would require you to desolder the old RCA from the board which means removing the board from the amp to access the bottom. Maybe xlr to rca cables might be and easier fix if thats beyond your skill.
