I am just wondering if Emotiva has sent the Airmotiv T1 speakers to a professional independent reviewer for testing and review. I have scoured the web and seen nothing but snippets of pre-reviews from auditions at trade shows. I would like to read a more detailed analysis from a professional reviewer in a controlled environment before ordering and auditioning in my home.
I have listened to the Emotiva powered monitors in person at RMAF a few years back and was very impressed with the sound and I am curious if the new full size T1 speakers compare or even exceed in sound quality compared to the smaller powered monitors. I have been leaning toward the golden ears Triton 5's, but would give these a listen if they compared favorably due to the significant cost savings over the Triton 5's. If anyone with the Emotiva staff who is privy to this information could respond to the question, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

The Airmotiv series products have been dispatched to several reviewers, but reviews often take a number of months as reviewers clear their queue, form impressions, write the review, and submit it for publication. Each of those stages involves some turnaround time.
Making things more difficult is that we sold out of the first run of the T1 speakers in just two weeks (and it was not a small run), so we are waiting for them to come back into stock before we solicit any more reviewers. We did get one pair of T1s out to a professional reviewer before selling out of them.

The more Emotiva products in the field the better. Not only for everyone at Emotiva but all of us that love watching the company grow, painfully for us,,,,,,sometimes!! But thats what it takes. More and more fans will support Emo and therefore, hopefully the engineering staff will have a little more time for toy tinkering,,,,,,,,to probide us better high(er) end gear at affordable prices. Love 💕 if this IS the long term goal of the Audio Gods!!!! |

I will keep searching for new reviews. Hopefully, the second run will permit more reviewers to get their hands on the T1s and increase your public exposure. |

Having heard them I'm not surprised you sold out :-). I'm looking forward to reading professional reviewer comments on them, but my (unprofessional) review is they sound pretty damn amazing ! Can't beat them for the price. |

solidstateYou can go ahead and place your order on the cart for the T1 towers. The second batch will be shipping Oct. 28. We have a large section of the next batch already presold for people that jumped on the reserve list so don't delay.

Oh wow thanks Nick. Just got off the phone with you guys and was told the next production run should show up at the end of the month.
When I get the funds together by the end of the week I'll be ordering for sure.
Hopefully I can get in there before the second batch is sold out!
