Im looking for a good, won't break the bank cleaner. Do you have/use one that you would recommend? Something more then a spin clean which I have gotten good results from but id like an easier job of it.

I am not a huge fan of records but back in the day I used to use my brush with isopropyl alcohol. The alcohol cleaned really well and evaporated so there was no residue.

When I first heard about Discwasher I thought they said dishwasher. So I loaded up a bunch where the dinner plates would normally go and fired it up.
It worked great except I needed to make some notes because the labels around the spindles disappeared......oh well.

I own the cheapest vacuum cleaner I could get from Music Direct or one of those stores. It was $200. It is a wonderful investment for people who love to spin vinyl.
And as far as I am concerned there is no easy or painless way to clean records. That is why God invented tequila.

Hey Nick,
I have a Okki Nokki that I purchased but never got around to ever using it.
Kept thinking it would be a great rainy day job but then it never rains in California.

Bonzo, the sad truth is I used tequila for the laugh. I to am a Bourbon drinker! Well, sometimes Tennessee Whiskey that I call bourbon in short hand. But for some reason, tequila seemed more funny than bourbon.
And I have never enjoyed sipping tequila, though it is tasty in a margarita. On the other hand, I prefer bourbon on the rocks with no mixer. Life is funny.

I own both the Music Hall WCS-2 and the Okki Nokki Mk2. Both are well built (all metal casings, no MDF). Both give open access to the platter for easy cleaning (the platter is not recessed into the case). Of the two, the Okki Nokki is the quieter (by a good margin). The Okki Nokki also utilizes a bi-directional motor whereas the Music Hall rotates in only one direction. The Music Hall is more expensive up front, but the replacement components are cheaper. The Okki Nokki is less expensive up front, but the replacement components are more expensive. Honestly, the only additional accessory you would "need" is a second wand for a "rinse" cycle. The wands (cleaning arms) for both are sturdy and should last quite a long time under normal use. The replacement velour strips can be obtained through secondary resources. Both yield fantastic results, but my favorite of the two is the Okki Nokki. Hope this helps...
