Maybe I have mental block on this simple feature. How do I set Zone 2 or Zone 3 to stay active after power down and have it "ON" upon restart? I send my source signal to different amps through out the house from the UMC. I have to fire up the Display, go to menu to turn on zones every time I want to listen to music in other areas. I don't want that. Does the XMC-1 also work that way? I'm using the record out as a work around now, but limited to just 1 zone at a time. My Denon allows me to set it & forget it. (analogue only- no digital files can be played) Help- wife is getting frustrated.

I asked for this feature years ago (before the XMC-1 came out), but it doesn't seem to be important to most people. I added an additional command to my Harmony remote to turn on Zone 2, but due to timing and other variables, it doesn't always work.

So now you can buy your wife Sonos for Christmas. Though you still might want to drive Sonos from the Zone 2 output and you'd have the same problem.
