I've done some room changes and want to run Emo-Q on my UMC-200. The cord is not long enough -- should I buy an extension for the microphone, or do I have to dig out the UMC-200 and bring it closer, running extension to it?

Update, this worked great with a cheap extension cable from Monoprice
