Does anyone know if the Upgrade For Life offer is still valid on the sale price of $1999 and/or $1699 XMC-1, since the EMP-1 I was waiting diligently for has been scraped I may go with an XMC-1 if funds allow, would be my last pre/pro for a long time though.

Since the next version of the XMC will be gen 3, you should be able to use the UFL on that.

Someone at Emotiva announced on the forum a bit back that they were offering the UFL on the sale price of the XMC-1, Nick you of all people should know c'mon man your a Lounge Lizard now "Someone at Emotiva", that sounds a little thin without a direct quote. Im all for it but that isn't their usual policy. Dig out the proof my friend, I'd be very happy to have more friends enjoying such great sounding gear at a discounted price. That was when I got mine a month and a half back. I had to call in and ask for it. Call them and ask. I bet they'll still honor it if you've got UFL.

Thanks, I didn't think I was losing it haha, my only dilemma is the cost into Canada plus there's an amp I still want to buy from a member haha If I could swing it the cost as follows which is estimate only as i haven't even talked with Emotiva and/or if the deal still exists but if it did haha $1999 x .25 = $499.75 $1999 - $499.75 = $1499.25 x .37(Exchange rate on CC) x 1.13(My Taxes) = $2320.99 and plus whatever shipping fes and duties/border fees lol So I'm guessing around $2500 CAD....ouch Maybe I'll be sticking with the 7020 for a while lol |

I would email Emotiva if you are still interested. I did and they gave me the 25 percent off the sales price yesterday.
