I found the announcement about the BasX 700 preamp and this was my experience: - This thread says the specs are wrong -- it lacks basic HDR (HDMI 2.0a) capability
- This thread says it does have HDMI 2.0a capability. Both posts are very recent and from Emotiva representatives
- The specs mention Bluetooth audio "requires optional Emotiva Bluetooth dongle", but provides no link and doesn't mention the dongle's name.
- After manually searching around the website, I found the BTM-1, whose specs state: "Designed to work specifically with the BasX PT-100, TA-100 and UMC-200". The MC-700 isn't mentioned, but this seems to be the only BT dongle. Do the BasX specs refer to a future product? This one? The specs also mention use of Apt-X, but which? There's Apt-X "HD", Apt-X lossless, etc.
- After all this, I barely decide to place an order and am met with the following:

It is HDR capable and that is the correct dongle.
