A little grumpy about my latest Emotiva experience

I found the announcement about the BasX 700 preamp and this was my experience:

1. This thread says the specs are wrong -- it lacks basic HDR (HDMI 2.0a) capability
2. This thread says it does have HDMI 2.0a capability. Both posts are very recent and from Emotiva representatives
3. The specs mention Bluetooth audio "requires optional Emotiva Bluetooth dongle", but provides no link and doesn't mention the dongle's name.
4. After manually searching around the website, I found the BTM-1, whose specs state: "Designed to work specifically with the BasX PT-100, TA-100 and UMC-200". The MC-700 isn't mentioned, but this seems to be the only BT dongle. Do the BasX specs refer to a future product? This one? The specs also mention use of Apt-X, but which? There's Apt-X "HD", Apt-X lossless, etc.
5. After all this, I barely decide to place an order and am met with the following:
