I know the product page lists specific BasX products that it is intended for, but would it work with an XDA-2 Gen1/2 if I used a USB Type A to USB type B adapter?

No. The BTM-1 will only work on products that are intended to work with it - and have the internal drivers to work with it. The USB port on the XDA-2 is strictly a "USB DAC input" and is not designed to work with a Bluetooth module. If you want to add Bluetooth to the XDA-2, you will need a separate device that is a Bluetooth receiver, and has a digital audio output in a format the XDA-2 supports. There are a bunch of low cost devices available that should do the job - but we haven't specifically tried any of them. (Note that you need one that has a digital output - since the XDA-2 does not have an analog input. Many low cost Bluetooth receivers only have an analog output.) For example, this one would probably work (we did NOT try it).... www.amazon.com/dp/B01KO1JNCA?psc=1I know the product page lists specific BasX products that it is intended for, but would it work with an XDA-2 Gen1/2 if I used a USB Type A to USB type B adapter?
