Do we have any face pics of these supposed XPA-9's and 11's? Are these the same modular design as the XPA Gen 3, or something different? Even though I can't upgrade, it doesn't change or diminish my curiosity.

Yes, they've said that putting 7 of the 2-channel Amplifier Modules into a case will yield a 14-channel Amplifier. Still limited to a total of about 1,400 Watts of course. So probably something like 100WPC, all channels driven ... Casey Thanks :-)

When you turn it on, your neighborhood goes through a Brown-Out for a 3 block radius from your home.

We haven't seen any pics, but probably because the face plate / window are in fact exactly the same. There is now only 1 "look" to the X series. I think the only unanswered aesthetic question is what exactly the "status" lights look like. Now that we have seen the "doublewides" and can confirm they are in fact 2 parts (a positive and a negative), I'd guess they just have 1 light in either the positive or negative blade (just guessing), but for the 2 channel blades, I dunno. Although since all the lights in every model are just "status" blue or red lights, does that really matter? I turn mine off so it doesn't matter to me.

For those of you who seem to be wowed by all this now or have questions, check this thread from back in March for info. I've direct linked Dan's post about the 3 + 8 unit, but if you scroll around and read the thread many questions will be answered for you. Hope this helps. emotivalounge.proboards.com/post/805529/thread

Are these pics real or a test mule chassis? Let's look on AVS to get the real answer. Lol

Looking forward to what the double wide monoblocks will look like...Hoping that they won't share a single power supply... They share a single power supply. That information has been available for awhile now. However if that is a big deal for you then you can order as many single monoblocks as you need. They will all have their own power supply.

I couldn't help but notice the double channel "Blades" RCA inputs are not chassis mounted like the single channel 'Blades". I own a XPA-5 Gen1. the RCA inputs have become loose over time. I was happy to see the Gen2 fixed this issue. It might present a problem down the road for users like me who are constantly switching my equipment around.

Looks like it's really space constrained there. My theory is that they're mounted on a PCB or something and attached by screws -- with those two screws right there. But maye Dan/Lonnie can answer.

I can't figure out what you are talking about. As I look at the pix, it looks like the rca inputs are on the blades on all options...none are chassis mounted. Where are you seeing a difference? Also, I can't imagine where they are mounted making a difference in whether they get loose over time or not. That seems a matter of screw size and torque use in assembly...not "where" they are mounted. Please elaborate... Mark

It looks cluttered to me. I prefer a two-box solution... /b
