Hey guys has anyone paired the egos dacs with a schitt headphone? I was curious to know if they paired nicely? I plan to use this work. What would be a good pairing? I plan to use the hd650.

Use the correct Schiit for your HD650. It likes an amp with power. For instance the Schiit Fulla would not be an ideal choice for the HD650 though it would still sound good. The bifrost and above will provide you some nice power. The Schiit Jotunheim has tons of power for use with HD650. It also has the option for a DAC. It's really about your purposes though as gzubeck said.

It will be stationary while I am work mostly. I was thinking of schiit but not sure which one would work best with the little ego. I was thinking of getting the uber or whatever one that was used to stack together.

What's your budget? Schiit has a varied line of headphone amps. The magni 2 uber should be a moderate improvement but not necessarily a knock you over the head improvement. I am looking at Emotiva's Mini-x with headphone out. It has a lot more power for your HD650.

I've owned both the Magni and Asgard 2 and highly recommend the Asgard 2 for the price, I'm hoping to someday buy it back from my buddy who bought it from me a while back, and I also use the Little EGO at my PC and for $99 wow what a deal.

I have a pair of the Massdrop HD6XX arriving Monday. I am torn between the BasX A-100 and the Schiit Jotunheim.

I would get the basx but it's just too big for me to bring to work. Looks like any headphone amp would pair nicely with the little ego. I don't want to spend too much I don't really want to spend more than $350.

I have the Jotunheim with the DAC option and am very happy with the sound using it as headphone preamp. Tried it with a bunch of different headphones and they all sound really good to me. The possibility to run things in balanced mode was one of the key factors to make me choose the Jotunheim. However, the A-100 should be powerful enough to drive pretty much anything to extreme loud levels without being balanced, so also a good choice if you don't need more than one input, DAC or phono-preamp.

The Emotiva ERC-3 works well with the HD600/HD650/HD700 and LCD-2, if you can find one.
The DC-1 would probably work as well, and only $499, and available in Jan. I do not have first hand experience with that unit.
The Schitt Jotunheim is getting great review, and with the amp is only $499 as well. Several reviewers were using HD650 as the base headphone. This option also allows you to use the HD650 in Balanced mode with XLR connections. You can pick up the 4PIN XLR to HD650 cables on EBay.

Hmm I'm now thinking I want to get the Stealth d1 to use as my work setup with my headphones. How is the Dac in the dc1 came the little ego?
Sorry not the DAC but the headphone amp.

The headphone amp is better. It gets loud but it's not quite good enough for me. However it won't be as good as the bas0-x.
