Stealth 8 and DC-1 are not even a month old, with less than 20 hours use, and the DC-1 seams to have gone silent. If monitors are on, I get a loud "pop" when I turn the DC-1 on or off. Analog and USB produce no sound. Sample rate shows on the display. Everything worked fine the last time. No environmental, electrical, supernatural (that I know of) influences at play.
I've checked settings, disconnected and reconnected everything.
Any clues?
Update: Ok, this is confusing...for me. The DC-1 will output via analog with either USB or analog inputs, but nothing going out via balanced outputs. I know the monitors are working, as they still pop when DC-1 is powered on/off.

Never heard that one...sounds like a call to Emotiva is in order.

Does the headphone jack work? In that case check the balanced connection selector switch on the speakers (if they have them).

Well isn't this a lovely experience I shut everything down, plugged my headphones in to see if the headphone outs work, turn on the DC-1, I hear an awful sound, the DC-1 shuts down on its own and now the left side of my newer T20i headphones are distorting badly. This is my first experience with new Emotiva products. It has cost me dearly. What have I gotten myself into?

If I were you, I would not try anything else other than calling Emotiva.

Call made. Gentleman I spoke with said he would like to consult a tech.
In case anyone is curious, this was my setup at time of malfunction:
Iphone -> RCA in DC-1 -> RCA out -> UMC-1 -> ADCOM 545ii -> Mains (this function was working) MacBook Pro -> USB out -> USB in DC-1 -> XLR out -> Stealth 8 Monitors
DC-1, UMC-1, and ADCOM are plugged into separate electrical outlets. DC-1 and one Stealth 8 share a surge protector.
