So on Christmas morning I wake up go to turn everything on and no sound at all. I mean no sound TV is on an pic is good so I check all cables and all connections all are good. Try running HDMI instead of optic and still nothing. Then I decide to see if FM works still no sound. Can't call emotiva till tomorrow so my question is, is there something I'm missing that I can check. Oh the unit turns on all works just no sound.

First thing Emotiva support will have you do is a system reset. It puts everything you changed back to the default settings. Might just work.

Interesting! From what I got out of the manual the only way to reset the processor is from INSIDE the processor's menu! Same for the UMC-200 which is what the foundation of the Fusion receiver is based on. Never seen any other AVR or AVP that are like that!

Not sure I would call that interesting or not but definitely sounds like I'm sending her in for repair.
