If I were to mount powered monitors like the Stealth 8 or Airmotiv 6 in a baffle wall or flush into a sidewall cutout that prevented me from physically turning them on and off, is there any signal sensing technology that turns the amps off to save power? If not, what do they draw at idle?
JBL Synthesis SDP-55, Emotiva UPA-2, UPA-200, Nvidia Shield, Emotiva Stealth 8 x3 for LCR, Airmotiv6s for RS, LS, RBS, LBS, Goldenear Invisa HTR7000 x4 for Atmos
According to soundandvision (?) there are new Airmotiv "T2" tower speakers being demoed at CES; two 8 inch drivers. Willing to bet they'll sound better than the stealth 8 due to the extra driver, and they're passive so no need to worry about sleep mode.
