Have a quick question for all you Emotiva experts out there If I understand correctly the XMC-1 only has 1 Input that is compatible with 4K UHD (copyright protected) bluray players. I was planning to hook the Xbox OneS to this port so I will be able to play 4K Blurays. The PS4 also has 4k capabilities but doesn't play 4k Blurays but does play some games in 4k. Since I will only have 1 input to allow protected content to pass through are there any options to make this work with both Xbox and PS4? Hope this makes sense! Thanks in advance.

You could use an HDMI switch into that input to toggle between each gaming system.

Wait, why would you need the switch? The PS4 should be able to output 4k through the non-2.2 ports. Perhaps not with HDR though. Heck, HDMI 1.4 can do 4k at 30 hz.
EDIT: I think games will be fine at 4k but 4k streaming services may not work. Though it may not be an issue if they work on the Xbox.

I actually just figured out the PS4 Pro will output fine through the non-2.2 ports while playing games. Tried it yesterday and worked fine. I most likely won't be using it to stream in 4k anyway so that shouldn't be an issue. I'll use the Xbox One S for that as well as 4K blurays.

I have a ps4 pro and xmc-1 with a 4 k tv. You will not have hdr thru the xmc-1 and it's the hdr that makes the biggest difference not the 4k. For now I bypass the xmc-1 until the new hdmi board is available for all the inputs so I can have my x-box 1 s and ps4 pro hooked back to the xmc-1 using full 4k with hdr.

I'm not familiar with the Xbox One S capabilies. Can you pass through 4k via the hdmi input? Maybe you can hook your PS4 up to that.

My TV doesn't have HDR compatibility unfortunately so I will only be passing 4K. Wished I would have waited and bought one with HDR. I want be upgrading my TV anytime soon. My wife would kill me.
