If I were to buy a second hand XMC-1, am I covered for the warranty? Does the original owner have to "transfer" the warranty? If they don't, am I without a warranty?

I believe that you understand the way an Emotiva warranty works. No transfer = no warranty. You could be the third owner with a warranty if each of the prior owners had transferred the warranty after each sale. Good luck, the XMC-1 is a wonderful processor.

Must, NOT want the owner to contact Emotiva to transfer the warranty.
